I went sightseeing at a local temple called Nichinanji, which I like to visit every year at this time of year.

This temple is the famous "Hydrangea Temple."

Although hydrangeas are generally referred to as such, they come in a wide variety of shapes and colors.

Perhaps because we chose a weekday with a drizzling rain, there were few people in the temple grounds.

I was able to enjoy the hydrangeas at my own pace.
