Good evening, this is Makino.
"Men's File Magazine" is a joint issue with Clutch Magazine, which was released at the end of June.

At the end of March, I went to a solo exhibition by photographer Nick Clements.
The photos I took are posted here.
Thank you Nick!
Personally, I find Nick's photos very inspiring, so I always look at them.
Well, this time it's a denim jacket...
Newly arrived in additional production
2nd Type Denim Jacket

We would like to introduce you to the following!
That being said, I think you all already know,
I won't write that much.
I also love it, so let me tell you what I particularly like about it.
Here it is.

A semicircular collar stand attached to the back of the collar!
What role does this play?
The collar turn down gives it a three-dimensional look.
Denim jackets are usually made with an open collar that lays flat.
However, this helps to make the collar stand up.
This is similar to the mechanism used when choosing a shirt to tie.

However, shirts have a collar stand in the front as well, but this one only has a collar stand in the back.
If you look at the image below, you'll probably understand,
Mayama on the left is wearing a denim work shirt with a stand collar.
I'm the second type on the right.

The collars stand up similarly.
The bandanas they both have around their necks are high enough to be hidden behind the collars!
It's just a small thing, but it can affect how it goes with other clothes,
The way you align it will be different.
I often like to wear this second type with trousers.
It's possible to pack classical elements into a work-like atmosphere.
The image above shows denim trousers, but rayon two-pleat trousers would also look great for a 1950s style, or with wool trousers in the winter.
In that case, you'll want to wear a vest underneath.
Alternatively, you can wear a T-shirt underneath and then a denim jacket over it with the collar slightly turned up!
The collar stands up just right!
So, there is a lot of charm packed into just one collar.
A unique denim jacket from the perspective of men's clothing.
Please enjoy it. See you!
