2024年小暑の酒丸。

Sakemaru in the 2024 Shosho era.

Around the time of Xiaoshu in 2024.
This is Sakemaru.
It's a little later than usual, but...
This year, I went to Nisunji Temple, a famous hydrangea spot in Minami Boso.

From the approach to the Niomon Gate (and beyond, of course),
A lot of hydrangeas.

Even with this, there are fewer flowers than usual,
The temple staff said the weather was strange.
The rainy season started late this year,
Just when you think there's been heavy rain, it turns out to be a dry rainy season.
It's a strange climate.
I'm also a bit worried about the lack of water.
And on the weekend...
There is a Tokyo gubernatorial election coming up.
I'm no longer a Tokyo resident, so it doesn't directly affect me...
With a population of 14 million, it is by far the largest prefecture in Japan.
The main points of contention among those competing for the top spots are:
The answer is "declining birthrate"!
Tokyo has the worst birth rate at 0.99 .
With that topic in the back of my mind...
Please take a look at today's product introduction.
It was an eye-opener,
The "washers" might fall out of your eyes (I don't know what that means).

It has finally arrived,
Bowling shirt of the year!
Titled,

Bowling Shirt “BONES PARTS”

The back embroidery reads "BONES PARTS"
The base color is pale beige and vibrant lime green!
A truly 1950s color scheme!

The bowling man is still on the collar.
The material is 100% cotton broadcloth.
It can be washed thoroughly with water.
This is an item that can be worn casually!

Pick up each color.
The embroidery color changes to match the background color.

And a close-up of the embroidery design.

Hmm, I feel like I've seen this somewhere before...

This is the southernmost tip of Minamiboso City, Chiba Prefecture.

This shrine is located at Nojimazaki Lighthouse, a place known as the "sacred place for lovers."

At the very back is a rustic shrine building.
The copper roof is majestic.

And right next to the shrine are stone statues of the Seven Lucky Gods.

Oh, there are only six of the Seven Lucky Gods.
Daikokuten,
Ebisu,
Bishamonten,
Fukurokuju,
Jurojin,
Hotei...
Oh, it looks like Benzaiten is not there.
Apparently, Benzaiten is enshrined inside the shrine .

At the entrance to this shrine, you will discover the reason why.
Yes, boom .

A majestic shrine for love success and fertility .

This is...the embroidered bolt side of the bowling shirt.

and…

The nut side that accepts the bolt is also placed there.
To protect yourself from bolts that may go wild,
Benzaiten must be hiding inside the shrine.

This is the original source.

OH NO YOU DON'T
NOT WITHOUT A WASHER!
What a great expression.
It was not just an eye-opener, but a real eye-opener (meaningless).
This plate was made in Japan in the 1960s for export to the US.
These are the issues at stake in the Tokyo gubernatorial election.

Because it is a nostalgic men's clothing store ,
It's really just products that are geared towards men...
We are also shocked by the birth rate of Tokyo residents, which is 0.99.
Upon visiting Itsukushima Shrine in Minamiboso,
Using plates with American puns,
Put on a Dry Bones bowling shirt...
Let's try out some ways to increase that number even a little .

And here's the news!
The annual DOO WOP DAY PARTY,
This year it will be held on July 13th, in the usual Kichijoji location!
Dry Bones makes a commemorative T-shirt every year on this day...
This year, in addition to T-shirts, there will also be sticker sheets!

Following the past T-shirt designs,
I redrawn it for the sticker.
Tickets will only be sold on the day at the venue.
(Of course, if there are any left over, we will sell them in store at a later date.)
Well, everyone, see you there on the day!
