I think many people have been looking for bowling shirts again in recent years.
This is based on a vintage piece from the 1950s.
The lining fabric on the front and the top of the pockets is in a contrasting color.
By making it slightly larger than the outer fabric, we have recreated an elaborate design that looks like piping.
The embroidery is of course chain embroidery, and it is gorgeous.
I'm relieved that I managed to finish it in time for the Obon holidays.
