Nagoya Store 20th Anniversary Event!

Nagoya Store 20th Anniversary Event!

Hello, this is Umezu from the Nagoya store.

This year's Golden Week I went to see Paul Simonon of The Clash.

To get myself pumped, I rewatched the movie "Rude Boy" beforehand before the event.

Seeing him in person gave off a very gentlemanly vibe, but I was also able to clearly see traces of his appearance from his film days, which was very moving✨

Please share your Golden Week memories with us.

Well, today we have an important announcement from our Nagoya store!

DryBones Nagoya store opened in May 2005 and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

We planned this event to express our gratitude to everyone who has been involved with us over the past 20 years!

"Nagoya Store 20th Anniversary Event."

Limited to 5 days: May 30th (Fri), May 31st (Sat), June 1st (Sun), June 2nd (Mon), and June 3rd (Tue)!

①Sale of 20th anniversary limited edition denim

-----Pre-orders are currently being accepted, with sales scheduled to start on Friday, May 30th.

② Secret sale

-----This is a secret sale exclusive to the Nagoya store, available for just these 5 days.

③Sales of samples and outlet items

-----We plan to sell small quantities of samples that are not normally for sale.

Regarding ①, I have already announced it in my previous blog , but...

Following on from last year's studded belt, I will be selling items that I think would be great to have as a special project.

This time we will be making painter pants, which are usually light-weight, from 12oz selvedge denim.

If you want to know what I think, please read the blog above again...

The release date is fast approaching at the end of this month, so today I would like to give you an update on my experience wearing the sample .

I wore it about five days a week for about three months from mid-February.

Do you wash it about once a month?

Left: After 3 months of wear Right: Unwashed

First, a frontal comparison.

It doesn't look much different from a distance, lol, but the wash has made the overall image look more blue.

It may be difficult to tell from the image, but both legs have a twist in the direction of the weave.

Many people like this twist.

Rear comparison.

Again, the change isn't very noticeable from a distance.

However, I think you can see the extremely thick, manly silhouette.

Pocket opening comparison.

You can see that the pocket openings, which are frequently rubbed, have started to fade.

The sample image uses hammered-in suspender buttons, but the actual product will be changed to thin sewn-on suspender buttons.

If you sew it on, there's always the worry that it will rub and the thread will break, but I prefer it that way, so that's what I did this time.

If the button thread breaks, I will sew it back on as many times as necessary, so please feel free to let me know.

Button fly comparison.

This is also something that has yet to be done.

I'm not sure if the spacing of the buttons really conveys this, but the pants have a deep rise and a classic design.

Rear-up comparison.

This time, we've used a generous amount of red selvedge on the back of the belt loop, where it can't be seen.

If you look closely, you can see that the fabric is fuzzy all over.

Once this fluffing subsides, the color will finally fade!

I couldn't get that far in 3 months. Lol

I wasn't able to capture it well in the photo, but when I looked closely at the actual product, I could see that some areas were starting to show slight vertical wear, so I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Although it is still in the early stages, I am growing more attached to it and it is growing nicely.

And, regarding the stock status of this limited edition denim,

Thanks to you, we have received many inquiries and advance reservations.

30 inch---2 pieces

32 inch---1 piece

There are only three of these.
