The other day, I went to Mie Prefecture with my mother and grandmother to meet my newborn nephew!

We stayed at Aquaignis Kataoka Onsen in Komono Town, Mie Prefecture.

The facility, which makes use of the vast grounds, is stylish and spacious!

The hot springs were very pleasant, and we also enjoyed strawberry picking at the farm on the same premises.

It was a great place to relax and unwind ☺️

We hadn't decided where to stay until the last minute, so we asked if we could stay somewhere in the nearby Yunoyama Onsen area.

When I went to try it out, I found it to be an abandoned hot spring town from a long time ago...

I thought there would be a lot of ruins, but it turns out they are actually famous ruins.

If you're a ruins enthusiast, this is a must-see.

My nephew was so cute when I met him for the first time, and I'm looking forward to seeing him grow up in the future ☺️
