The day before yesterday, I dyed my own shirt and a summer linen nagajuban myself!
This convenient dye can be dyed in 40 degree water.
It's nice to be able to take on the challenge casually.
For the first 15 minutes, I kept stirring the mixture to prevent uneven distribution of the dye, and then for the next 45 minutes, I left it while stirring occasionally.
I didn't read the instructions carefully and didn't mix it well from the beginning, so I left it for a long time (lol).
I mixed it in a hurry later, but I regret being lazy...
The finished product looks like this!
It ended up being very uneven!! (lol) But I think it works as a sort of camouflage pattern.
The shirt was originally white but had become dirty and could no longer be worn as is, and the nagajuban was a second-hand one that was slightly dirty, so the original dirt may have reacted with the fabric.
The dyes were on sale for a reasonable price, so if you're interested, please give it a try!
I'd like to try wearing the nagajuban in a different color again...!!
