Hello, this is Wami from the Osaka store.
The other day, I finally got my hands on a vintage skirt that I had been wanting so badly...!
40s circular skirt with cat pattern!
I fell in love at first sight with this happy cat's face and the color scheme of the black pins...
It was by far the most expensive purchase I have ever made, but I am very happy with it ❤️
I can't wait to wear this and go to events soon.
I'm thinking of matching it with a Dry Bones top too 🎶
Well, the cold days are still continuing, but I think it's about time to start thinking about spring and summer items!
Today we would like to introduce some of the items that we are increasing production of in preparation for spring.
First up, we have two types of denim jackets that many of you have been waiting for!
1st Type Pleats Jacket
Size: 36(S), 38(M), 40(L), 42(XL)
This denim jacket with a flap on one pocket, which was produced for a long time from the late 1910s to the early 1950s, has been reproduced with Dry Bones' interpretation.
As they were called "pleated blouses" or "riveted blouses" at the time, they feature symmetrical pleats on the front and rivets at the pocket openings and cuffs for reinforcement.
The cinch buckle on the back of the garment is made by bending and hammering solid brass wire, giving it a handmade feel.
At the time, denim jackets were made in sizes where the back was too short due to the narrow width of the denim fabric. For sizes 44 and above, a seam was added down the center of the back, a method known as "T-back".
At Dry Bones, this T-back style is available in all sizes, creating an even rarer feel.
2nd Type Denim Jacket
Size: 36(S), 38(M), 40(L), 42(XL)
This is a denim jacket with two pockets and flaps from the mid-century era, from the 1950s to early 1960s.
Unlike the first, the front is symmetrical and there are tuck buttons on both sides of the back for adjusting the size, giving it a more sophisticated design than the first.
Another point of emphasis is that the length of the garment is slightly longer than that of the original, and it has been made with care to make it easier to match with modern fashion.
We are now accepting reservations for both!
We also produce three patterns of pants using the same 13.5 oz denim fabric.
We also recommend a denim set!
A universal regular straight cut like Levi's 501.
DP-562W Jean Engineering Denim Pants
Slim straight, reminiscent of the 66 type from the 1960s to around 606.
DP-582W Jean Engineering Denim Pants
For outerwear, I am wearing the 2nd denim jacket introduced above.
(The length and sleeve length have been altered.)
The silhouette follows the style of the 1920s and 1930s, when back straps and belt loops were mixed.
DP-532W Jean Engineering Denim Overalls
Pants sizes are all available now, so it's a good idea to get them early.
And this ever-popular item is also currently in production!
Westren Style Satin Jacket
Size: 36(S), 38(M), 40(L), 42(XL)
Color: BLACK, BROWN
The image of Johnny Depp wearing this is very famous.
We produced the brown version in the fall, which sold out in a flash, and we will be making it again soon!
Westren Plain Style Satin Jacket
Size: 36(S), 38(M), 40(L), 42(XL)
Color: BLACK, BROWN
(Sorry the photo is old.)
We also make simple types without embroidery.
The lack of embroidery gives the piece a clean, streamlined look, making accessories and patterned shirts stand out even more.
This brown color is a first!
Please look forward to the finished product!
However, regardless of whether you have embroidery or not, we recommend that you make a reservation as we only produce a limited number of items!
We also accept phone calls and DMs on Instagram.
You can also see information about new spring and summer items in store.
We hope to spread the information through social media to people who live far away, so please check out each store's Instagram!
