ワークウエアでのセットアップ

Workwear setup

Hello, this is Makino.

This happened last month, but during the Obon holidays in August, I went on a camping trip with my brother from the head office.

Initially, I was planning to go to Oarai Beach in Ibaraki,

Unfortunately, it had been raining since the morning and we thought the event would be cancelled.

The forecast says it will stop before noon.

If you believe that and are ready to leave at any time,

The forecast was correct!
It was a beautiful sunny day☀️

However, we changed our location to a nearby campsite on the Doshi River (on the border between Kanagawa and Yamanashi prefectures) and set off!

We drove slowly, stopping at a service area along the way, and after two hours we arrived safely!

After doing what I had to do, I finally have a toast 🍻

After that, I drank quite a bit and before I knew it, I was asleep...

Wow, that was fun!!

Now, to the main topic,

"Workwear setup"

However, there are three items I would like to introduce this time.

Actually, it was in stock around June or July,

I thought some people might have missed it, so I'm posting it again now.

First, here

DJ-1140 Round Collar Engineer Jacket

and

DJ-1137 Denim Bib Overalls

Setting up.

The fabric is 10oz uneven yarn denim.

Although it is a light denim fabric,

It has a firm texture and is comfortable to wear.

The jacket is rare among denim work jackets?!

The length is short.

It can be worn like a denim jacket, and the fabric is not bulky, making it easy to wear.

What's more, it comes with four pockets so you can go out empty-handed!

It is also useful when riding a motorcycle or bicycle.

In addition, the length of the garment does not interfere with sitting,

I think it would be easy for people who travel by car to use too.

Of course, other than the setup.

I'll be pairing this with a corduroy vest (also made as a set) that will be arriving soon and an offset Henley neck.

The trousers are woolen two-pleat pants.

Personally, I like the combination of wool and denim, plus other materials.

I like it. It creates a certain atmosphere and makes me feel self-satisfied!

We will be using the set-up series that will be arriving in stores in different colors.

We also recommend matching them together.

I will also be posting on Instagram etc. from now on.

This is the front view of the engineer jacket.

Yeah, it's easy to use.

Next is a different jacket made from the same fabric.

DJ-1141 Denim Prisoner Jacket

The atmosphere changes completely again!

This can also be worn as part of a set or separately.

Speaking of which, we also make high-back trousers using the same fabric.

I also recommend pairing it with this jacket.

It will be restocked soon.

the front of the jacket.

Even though it is a work jacket,

The age of the garment can be determined by the width of the lapel.

This is based on a work jacket (prison uniform) from around the 1930s.

The lapels of this time were wide, and the gorge line (the boundary between the upper and lower collars)

It's high and distinctive!

I hope you enjoy these details while wearing the jacket.

This is also nice!

The front buttons of the jacket are undone.

I spread out the dotted bandana like a ribbon and tied it.

Pair it with a Wabash dot work shirt.

Enjoy the subtle dots and dots.

Because it is workwear, it has a modest, one-tone look.

Play with patterns...!!

Here's what I wore underneath those jackets.

DJ-1137 Denim Bib Overalls

It will be.

The silhouette is moderately wide, making it perfect for everyday use.

It's been a while since I made something with a covered back.

Parts not found in overalls at the time,

Equipped with a keychain loop.

Now, like jeans,

Can be attached to a key chain or wallet chain.

Using images like these as reference, I tried to remember the fabrics, materials, and colors used at the time.

It's also a good idea to consider the purpose and learn how to combine them.

We will work together with you to think of a way to match them, so please come to the store!

Well then.
