T-shirts coming soon

Hello, this is Makino.

During Golden Week, I had only one day off, so

I went to the IMAX theater with my daughters to see a Super Mario movie.

Since I had the chance, I watched it with 3D glasses,

For me, it's been since Tsukuba Expo?!

Of course the quality was higher than it was back then lol.

Then we went straight to Enoshima.

I sometimes feel like going there.

The island was extremely crowded, but I just wanted to see the ocean,

Here I was able to relax and unwind.

Now, on to the main topic.

I would like to explain a little about the T-shirts I was in charge of this time.

This time I was involved with Type 5.

First, this.

"CHESS BOYS"

As you all know, the design features three of Chess Records' signature artists as characters.

The original source is PEP BOYS, an American car accessories store.

I've wanted to try this topic for a while now.

If it's well received, maybe we'll try a different person next time and make it into a series...

The charcoal body features green and brown prints.

I'm thinking of a color that will highlight slightly browned skin.

Next up is this.

"FEN"

This has a print on the front chest.

This is the back.

This design is exactly the same,

Far East Network, translated as FEN.

A US military radio station created for US soldiers stationed in Japan after World War II.

The design printed on the chest is the symbol mark.

Printed on the back is a map of Japan showing the radio stations located at each base.

Wolfman Jack, who also appeared in the movie American Graffiti, was broadcast on this station as the "Wolfman Jack Show" since the 1970s.

Third,

"GUAM"

This is an actual vintage tee design.

I plan to blur it a bit like a stencil and create a faded look...

looking forward to.

Fourth photo,

ROCKERS

The design is based on photographs from the 1960s.

I see this kind of motorcycle motif in America, with Harleys as the motif, but there aren't many clever designs for British cars...

So I decided to make it.

And lastly, this one.

"DEVIL IN DISGUISE"

This is also the name of my favorite Elvis song.

I think it means something like "a devil in disguise" lol

He's a lovable guy wearing a motorcycle cap.

that's all.

Stay tuned, then.
