Wool Hopsack Pinch Back Jacket

Pinch back jacket with pleats on the back.
While retaining the single peak lapel style that was popular in the 1920s, this jacket has been made with outer pockets for a casual look.
The big collar gives it a retro feel.
Deep colored tweed material.
By the way, this back detail was a style that was popular in the 1930s.
The basis of modern suit styles was almost complete in the 1930s, and just like the Art Deco culture that was flourishing at the time, the world of men's fashion also flourished at once.
Against this backdrop, there were attempts at style that were unique to the time with suits and jackets, and one particularly common feature was the addition of an accent to the back of the jacket to add variety.
Specifically, jackets have tabs or box pleats on the back, or pleats on both shoulders and a belt around the waist; jackets with these features were called "pinchback jackets," "bi-swing jackets," "Sunningdale jackets," etc., and were very popular at the time.

The fishtail and cinch buckle details on the back are the highlights. This item also has an outside pocket for a more casual look.
When I tried them on, I felt that the width of the silhouette was not much different from the existing High Back Trousers.
There are no tucks and it is slightly tapered, but the overall silhouette is wide and thick.
