春に是非!な、ライトオンスのデニムジャケット

A light-weight denim jacket perfect for spring!

Hello, this is Wami from the Osaka store.

Just when I thought it had suddenly gotten warmer, it's cold and rainy today ☔️

The drastic temperature fluctuations are hard on the body...

Everyone please take care of your health!

As for me recently, I started boxing as a hobby and it's been almost six months since I started going to the boxing gym!

It's hard to tell unless you're wearing light clothing, but people around me say, "You're starting to have the body of someone who works out!" 😂 lol

I can feel it myself, but my back has especially become stiff!

I often wear sleeveless tops in the middle of summer, so I'd like to continue working hard to show off my beautiful muscles 💪

Today, I'd like to introduce you to some denim outerwear that you'll want to wear this spring🌸

This is a versatile item that can be used in a variety of ways other than summer, as an outer layer in spring or as an inner layer on cold days like today.

First, let's look at three pieces that have military roots.

Denim Shawl Collar Jacket

Size: 36(S), 38(M), 40(L)

This is a reproduction of a jacket that was produced as workwear for the US Navy in the 1940s and 1950s.

Typical details include the distinctive shawl collar, short length, thin 10-ounce denim, and change buttons (which became sewn-on buttons in the 1950s).

The length is compact, so even petite people will find it easy to wear!

Military Anorak

Size: 36(S), 38(M), 40(L), 42(XL)

The design is based on the US Navy utility parka from the 1940s. In addition to denim workwear, vintage items from that time also include a white twill one for snowy mountains, a sand beige one for desert troops, and a red twill one for Landmark.

This is also a thin denim at 8.5 oz.

The military-style double-breasted design is unique.

Big Pocket Denim Pullover Jacket

Size: 36(S), 38(M), 40(L), 42(XL)

This is a reproduction of a pullover utility jacket made from light-weight denim that was used by the US military from the early 1900s to around the 1940s.

The material is 8.5 oz uneven yarn denim woven with 10-count warp and weft yarns.

It features large pockets on both sides of the front.

This is a piece that can be enjoyed in many different ways depending on how you layer it, whether it's like a shirt or a jacket.

And its roots are in vintage workwear.

Broken Denim Chore Jacket

Size: 36(S), 38(M), 40(L), 42(XL)

The design is based on the chore jackets commonly worn for light work in the 1920s and 1930s.

About a century ago, chore jackets were made primarily for light work at home, as opposed to work jackets (coveralls) that were specialized for specific jobs.

The length is slightly shorter than a coverall, making it suitable for a variety of tasks.

This item is made of broken denim, which has a random weave that shows through the surface, and the color fading is also unique.

Its compact size is also a key to its popularity.

2tone Pinch Back Work Jacket

Size: 36(S), 38(M), 40(L), 42(XL)

We designed the pinchback jacket, which was popular in outdoor scenes in the 1920s and 1930s.

Pinch back refers to the number of tucks on the back of the dress. Because of these tucks, the fabric is loose around the shoulder blades, but the belt at the waist tightens it up.

It was primarily made for hunting with a rifle.

Made from 10 oz denim, this item is also lightweight and comfortable to wear. The UNION MADE buttons add an accent.

Sunningdale Denim Work Jacket

Size: 36(S), 38(M), 42(XL)

This is a reproduction of a very unique denim chore jacket that existed around the 1920s.

It is packed with unique vintage details, such as a diagonal pocket that combines a pencil pocket and a watch pocket, a small coin pocket with an inner pocket sewn behind it, and multiple tucks on the belt at the back.

The 10oz denim fabric with naps is also very tasteful.

This time we have collected only light-ounce products to introduce, but each product in the lineup has its own unique characteristics.

Did you find one that caught your eye?

Even if you already have a denim jacket, this is a great choice as a second item!

That's all for today.
