This piece is based on the design of a vintage shirt from the 1950s.
It is crafted from a rayon-cotton blend twill—a substantial, heavyweight fabric.
The pocket flaps and front placket feature diamond-shaped "pearl-hatch" (snap) buttons.
These buttons, which incorporate an inlaid stone, were the most popular style of Western-themed fastener during the 1950s.
Known as "tetra pearl-hatch" buttons, they are a highly collectible Western detail.
The collar features a relatively short point, reflecting a design aesthetic characteristic of the late 1950s.
This shirt is also famous for having been worn by the 1950s rockabilly musician Gene Vincent.
He wore it on a record jacket, making it a well-known Western-style open-collar shirt among fans of the era.
