This item is made from cotton corduroy in the style of a gaucho shirt, which was very popular in the 1950s. It is a warm, brushed material with a classic feel.

The material on the front is an original leopard print cotton corduroy made from scratch.

This is what is known as "leopard print," but this leopard print is a reproduction of the famous, legendary leopard print (beige background) worn on stage by Gene Vincent, a musician active in the 1950s.

At the time, he was wearing this leopard print (acrylic sticker material), but we planned and produced the exact same design using cotton corduroy, a natural material.

It also reproduces the off-white color that exists in the vintage version.

The plain part is made of cotton twill, which is also a natural material and has good heat retention.

The shape is that of a gaucho shirt, a pullover shirt with a ribbed hem that was very popular among rockabilly people in the 1950s. It is what is known as a "quintessential 1950s design."

However, it is actually made with great attention to detail...

When viewed from the front, the pocket flaps are angled slightly outward.

Additionally, the pockets themselves are slightly larger than those of the time, giving the garment an appearance closer to a shirt jacket than a shirt.

We have also positioned the pockets slightly lower, which we believe creates the "delinquent look of the time."

The long-point collar is small and round, resembling the shape of the late 1950s, and is hand-stitched using an AMF machine (a special sewing machine).

In addition, the rib tension was knitted quite tightly (30% less than the body width).

We have tried to make this shirt look like it was "deadstock" from the 1950s.

The front buttons are flat buttons, just like back then. They are 15mm in diameter, just like back then, and are intentionally made larger than the shirts.

This is a typical shirt that was all the rage at the time, but in fact it embodies the "position of men's clothing in the 1950s."

When making the shirts, the corduroy is cut and sewn against the grain, which gives the brushed material a matte look and allows the colors to pop beautifully.

The back of the yoke is made of cupra satin, making it smooth and easy to wear.
