p>We have reimagined an ultra-rare knit jacket from the 1930s using cut-and-sew fabric.

It features unique, asymmetrical pockets.
The right chest pocket is set at an angle and includes a dedicated pencil slot—likely designed to make it easier to insert and retrieve items with the right hand.
The left chest pocket features a zipper with a chain pull, designed to keep valuables secure.
The lower left pocket is a high-capacity style with a flap closure.

Both sleeves feature "half-style" elbow patches.
While this type of half-patch is sometimes found on military-style sportswear from the same era, the original knit jacket itself appears to be of a workwear style.

The material is a wool-cotton blend rib-knit fabric. It is brushed on the inside, offering excellent heat retention.
The ribbing is made of cotton interlock (or "frise") fabric; we intentionally used a slightly different shade than the body to create a pre-war two-tone look.
The ribbing is attached using a "split-seam twin-needle" method—a classic construction technique seen on vintage sweatshirts from the 1940s and earlier.

The buttons are two-hole types featuring a 1920s-style notched design, and we deliberately chose a color that contrasts with the body of the jacket.

This is an incredibly rare knit jacket—the kind that even vintage enthusiasts have likely never seen before.
A friend happened to own one, so we used it as a reference.
Since it is unlikely you will ever come across the original again, we decided to recreate it here at Dry Bones.
We invite you to try on this wonderfully designed knit jacket and experience the comfort of a casual cut-and-sew piece.
