DB-008 Bandanna “HORSE SHOE”
100% Cotton
The design is based on a bandana pattern that was in existence in the 1950s, commonly known as the "horseshoe pattern."
Bandanas from the 1950s have long been popular with collectors.
Western motifs from the 1950s are popular not only among bandana collectors but also among 1950s collectors, and are completely out of stock on the market.
Western motifs were created in a variety of items, influenced by the popularity of tourist ranches from the 1940s onwards.
This style was incorporated not only into textile design, but also into shoe design and industrial design such as automobiles, and in the 1950s many television programs and films were produced that involved children.
So I wanted to bring it back as a Dry Bones item, and included it in the bandana series.
The design is the same as the vintage, the only difference is the FAST COLOR part.
This section also includes information on the eyes of all things and ALL COTTON.
Think of it as imitating the elephant mark often seen on vintage bandanas.
The material is of course 100% cotton sheeting.
The bandana measures 22.5 inches (57cm) x 21 inches (53cm).
This is the most common size seen in vintage items, and I think it is the best size when cutting cotton sheeting fabric into a bandana.
The original dyeing method was discharge dyeing after base dyeing, but in Japan today this dyeing method is almost impossible (due to pollution issues),
We use a special technique called "tweezers dyeing" to dye them so that they all look the same.
Therefore, just like the originals, it looks dyed the same from the front and back.
All four sides are discharge dyed off-white and single-needle sewn.
We aimed for a texture that looks like the dye has faded with use.
These bandanas were designed by bandana collectors, and you can use them thoroughly just like the real thing to create the next generation of vintage items.
