We designed the striped T-shirt, which was hugely popular in the United States in the 1950s and 1960s and later became synonymous with youth culture.

Striped T-shirts were hugely popular in the 1950s, especially among teenagers.

In the early period, two-color thick borders were the norm, but as time went on the border pitch became thinner and more irregular and the number of colors increased.

In the late 1950s, the mainstream patterns were three or four colors, with a distinctive color placed on a border less than 10 mm thick, with thicker borders filling in the gaps and even thinner borders on the edges.

In the famous movie "Stand by Me," the main character Gordy (set in 1959) wears a red multi-striped shirt.

My favorite is Caleb, the main character in the American TV series "American Gothic" (a horror drama set unknown, executive produced by Sam Raimi).

Almost every time he appears wearing a striped T-shirt with a different vibrant color scheme.

This classic striped T-shirt has been recreated to recreate the atmosphere of the time.

The material is 40-count double-ply cotton jersey.

In addition, the body fabric is intentionally cut and sewn slightly toward the back shoulder.

The collar rib is made using 20 count milling.

This milling is cut at a 45 degree angle and then sandwiched and sewn together.

This is a ribbing method that takes advantage of the elasticity of the milling cutter itself, and was a sewing technique that was used until around the 1950s.
