DAW-008 Collar Pin

This design is based on the classic pinhole shirt from the 1920s.

The material is deadstock cotton broadcloth, a beautiful navy pencil stripe fabric on a white background.

The shape is pinhole collar, with a 1920s style round collar and short points.

In fact, the color bars used in pinhole cameras were discontinued, and there was a long period when they could not be made.

However, a few years ago, we discovered some dead stock unplated material, which led to the current production.

In other words, even the separately sold color pins are dead stock.

The front placket is completed above the bottom, which is how the shirt is designed to be tucked into your bottoms.

There is only a pocket on the left chest.

The center back is gathered instead of tucked.

Reproduces the careful hand-stitching techniques of the 1920s.

In addition, plain white oxford is used for the collar stand, cuffs, and hem.

Recreates classic clerical colors.

Then, I sewed pieces into the sides of the hem using the same material as the body.

It is tear-resistant, but also includes design.

In movies set during the Prohibition era, there is always at least one gangster wearing a clerical pinhole collar shirt.
