A collar pin for pinhole shirts.
Pinhole shirts were very popular in the 1920s and 1930s. They were also popular in the 1950s and 1980s when classic styles were in vogue, but now they are an endangered species. The reason for this is probably because the collar pin has become almost extinct.
However, the other day, a friend of mine who deals in metal materials sent me a photo with the caption, "I found some dead stock hidden away somewhere!"
The location is a famous area in Tokyo where there are many wholesalers and factories that handle such parts. I went there immediately to check the contents of the case and asked them to do the plating process.
Probably dead stock from the 1970s.
Dry Bones has produced and sold collar pins several times in the past. They were all found in dead stock that had been lying dormant at various wholesalers. However, we have now dug them all up, and it has been several decades since we could no longer produce them.
Recently, we have received some exciting news about a new discovery.
Although the total number is small, we are finally able to produce pinhole shirts.
One end is a screw, similar to the relationship of a nut and bolt, so the pin is used by passing it through an eyelet in the collar of your shirt.
For all you pinhole enthusiasts, the wait is over.
