A dressy two-tuck jacket made from work material that existed in the 1950s .
I tried to recreate the Rousers.
The material is a cotton hairline stripe, or a fine hickory stripe. In the 1950s, Lee, a leading workwear brand, produced two-tuck trousers using this work-related material.
During this period, all men's brands were making two-pleat trousers. The most popular materials were rayon Venetian, linen and rayon blends, and wool.
Work-style materials were avoided in this style, probably because the time, place, and occasion were not right. However, Levi's was the brand that broke this trend. In addition to five-pocket jeans, Levi's developed a wide range of two-pleat trousers made from work-style materials such as broken denim.
The distinctive thick belt loops are sandwiched between the belt parts to increase durability. There is a coin pocket on the right side where the belt parts change, and all pockets have fasteners for a sturdy and sturdy construction. The silhouette is very wide at the waist and tapered towards the hem, just like the trends of the time. It goes well with short tops.
These two-tuck trousers are like jeans that can be washed in water. Try coordinating them and feel like you're a young person from the 1950s.
