This design is based on the work caps that were popular in the 1930s to 1950s.

Work caps were used in various factories. The basic shape was a single piece of top folded over with tucks and sewn to the belt, with a brim only on the front. They were mainly made by work and store brands. They were also made in a wide variety of materials, including denim, hickory stripes, and heathered chambray.

Dry Bones uses 10 oz cotton denim with uneven yarns. The more you use it, the more the color fades, making it a fun material to watch as it ages.

The inside of the brim is made of the same material as the hat and does not have any interlining, so it will become distorted with use. Unlike new hats, it does not use a plastic interlining, so there is no need to worry about it cracking easily.

The lining is made of the same 10oz denim as the original. 28mm wide elastic tape is used only in the center back area. It wraps around the head from behind.

The stitching is off-white, following the work style of the past.

Having one is a great idea as it can be coordinated with a variety of styles. A denim cap casually tucked into a back pocket is a truly quintessential American scene.
