Based on work shirts from the 1920s and 1930s, I added tiger embroidery, which was often seen on jackets from the Vietnam War.

The shirt is made of 100% cotton chambray, a timeless classic for work shirts. Chambray, which looks pale blue, is a plain weave fabric with blue warp and white weft. It is light, breathable, and durable, and has long been used for farm work and military uniforms.

The front placket ends with the bottom button, a 1920s style design. It is usually worn tucked into pants, so it was designed this way to keep it from getting tangled up.

There are chest pockets on both the left and right sides, but only one has a flap. The one with the flap also has a pencil hole.

Chambray tends to tear easily when rubbed, so we used ecru lining on the back of the collar stand, yoke, and flap, etc. to match the color of the buttons and stitching.

The embroidery on the chest features a tiger motif commonly seen on jackets from the Vietnam War, arranged in mirror images on the left and right. The simple, yet sophisticated look makes it look handcrafted and goes well with the chambray material.

If you wear a yellow shirt underneath, you can create an American casual look. You can also wear it with slim jeans for a rocker look. This is an item that can be worn by a wide range of people.
