I tried to create a unique version of the souvenir jacket from the Vietnam War, commonly known as the Viet-Jean.

Speaking of Viet-Jean jackets, they are famous for the Vietnam map, tiger on the chest, and dragon on the sleeve, as seen on this jacket. While following these classic embroidery elements, we tried to add some variation to the body.

The outer fabric is a camouflage pattern closely associated with the Vietnam War, commonly known as tiger camo. It is printed on a lightweight nylon twill. The fabric is quilted with an oval pattern and embroidered with Vietnam.

This jacket is also reversible, and the lining is the same nylon twill, in a solid olive drab color, a color scheme often found in military items.

The embroidery on the chest is deliberately placed slightly on the upper side, bringing out the interesting aspects of the Vietnamese jacket, which is both good and bad.

Vintage Viet jackets don't often have ribbing, but considering the ease of wearing it today, the cuffs and collar are tucked in with ribbing to keep out the cold.

The jacket itself is lightweight and made of water-repellent nylon, making it resistant to rain. It's a nylon jacket that you can easily throw on.
