I tried to create a unique version of the souvenir jacket from the Vietnam War, commonly known as the Vietjean.

Speaking of Vietjan, it is famous for the Vietnam map, tiger on the chest, and dragon on the sleeve, as seen on this jacket. While following these classic embroidery elements, we tried to add some variation to the body.

The outer material is a camouflage pattern commonly known as tiger camo, which is closely associated with the Vietnam War. It is printed on a thin nylon twill. The fabric is quilted with an oval pattern and has Vietnam embroidery on it.

This jacket is also reversible, with the same nylon twill lining in solid olive drab, a color scheme often seen in military items.

The embroidery on the chest is deliberately placed subtly on the upper side, bringing out the interesting side of the amateurish but stylish Viet jacket.

There aren't many vintage Viet jackets with ribbing. However, for ease of wear today, I added ribbing to the cuffs and collar. This helps keep out the cold air.

The jacket itself is lightweight and made of water-repellent nylon, so it is resistant to rain. It is a nylon jacket that you can easily put on.
