This is a masterpiece that has been hand-carved and polished by celluloid artisans in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, the holy land of eyeglasses.

Although celluloid is difficult to handle, it is elastic and does not easily deform. It also has a unique luster, beautiful depth and patterns, and is pleasant to the touch.

Hinges made up of seven links are commonly found in vintage frames; they are durable, the screws do not loosen easily, and allow for smooth opening and closing.

The product comes with a hard case.
