This design is based on the pattern that became famous when worn by Elvis Presley in the 1950s, but made from a different fabric.

In the 1950s, this geometric pattern of successive ellipses that gradually change size was made only from cotton corduroy. At the time, there were only two versions, an all-over pattern and a front-only version, and only as a pullover.

In modern Japan, this style limits the time and who can wear it.

So instead of cotton corduroy, we planned and produced it with rayon broadcloth. Also, instead of a pullover, we tried making it open at the front. By doing so, you can have some fun with the inner layer.

The front and back of the dress are patterned, while the sleeves and collar are solid black. The back of the yoke is made of cupra satin for a smooth feel.

The result is a shirt with a rockabilly feel that is very typical of the fifties.
