A huge hit in the 1950s...

We've created a beautiful original fabric, woven with yarn-dyed nep yarn alternating with chambray stripes.

Using this exquisite fabric, which required a lot of time and effort,

we've also designed a two-tone open-collar shirt with solid-color rayon broadcloth.

This shirt is the same style worn by rockabilly star Gene Vincent of the time on his record sleeve.

The design alternates between thick, iridescent, striped chambray and thick, yarn-dyed nep yarn.

The name BERMA comes from the brand name of this vintage shirt.

A different design was also worn by the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, at the time.

This outstanding textile, which was so popular in the 1950s, is a testament to its popularity.

The collar has a short point and a 6mm single stitch, reminiscent of the late 1950s.

The front seam, collar, sleeves, and back are made of solid-colour rayon broadcloth.

They match the colour of the chambray parts.

The buttons are cat's-eye and made of black mother-of-pearl, another design classic from the 1950s.

The inside of the yoke is made of cupra satin for improved slipperiness and durability.

The front and pockets also feature horizontal stripes.

This exquisite piece is made from smooth rayon, which is hand-cut one piece at a time and sewn to match the pattern.
