We have recreated the extremely thin belt for two-pleat trousers that was all the rage in the 1950s.

In the 1950s, the majority of dressy bottoms worn by men were two-pleat trousers. These trousers often had narrow belt loops, making them difficult to coordinate with today's casual wear. For this reason, we designed a belt that would also be compatible with vintage trousers.

The belt width is 20mm. However, because the belt core is a classic kamaboko-shaped core, it feels wider than 20mm.

The main cowhide leather used is kid leather, which is the hide of calves between 6 months and 2 years old and is characterized by its fine texture and softness.

The plain kid leather comes in three colors: white, black, and brown. The center is accented with lizard-embossed cow leather, creating a gorgeous two-tone look reminiscent of the 1950s.

Regarding sizing, each belt has five eyelets spaced 1 inch (2.54 cm) apart. The center eyelet is the size indicated. Therefore, a 31-inch belt can be adjusted from 29 to 33 inches.
