The panther is a motif that has been used in a variety of items based on the Tropical Deco style that emerged after the 1930s.

In addition to textiles, the design became popular for lamps, ornaments, and tattoos.

This time, the silk panther pattern created in the early 1950s has been reproduced using rayon Fujiette.

The shape is a Dry Bones classic, with a long point and two flap pockets.

It's what some call "typical 1950s design."

However, it is actually made with great care and attention to detail...

When viewed from the front, the pockets are slightly raised outward.

The figure is just 5 mm for a pocket width of 12 cm.

By raising it by 5mm, the figure would appear to have the "simple and sturdy" shape that men's style at the time sought.

If the pockets are completely horizontal, the outside will look like it's hanging down when you wear it, making your shoulders look sloping.

Similarly, the long-point collar is cut so that when the first button is open, the collar tip appears to rise slightly toward the shoulders.
