This shawl collar coat was produced over a very long period, from the 1920s to the 1960s , to keep warm.

The shawl collar is made of mouton, or sheepskin.

It boasts one of the best cold-weather and moisture-wicking properties of any natural material in existence, and has been used as cold-weather clothing since ancient times.

The outer material is cotton moleskin.

Moleskin is the name of a weave, and like satin, it is a type of "satin weave."

The tightly twisted cotton is woven at a high density to give the fabric a beautiful luster and excellent water repellency.

In addition, the openings of the pockets, which are subject to strong pressure, have been secured with a leather bar.

The interior is lined with the same leopard print seal material used in Dry Bones' heavy cold weather gear.
