The design was based on the US Navy's N-1 deck jacket from the 1940s.

The N-1 jacket was originally developed for work on the deck of a ship, and uses a highly water-repellent woven outer fabric called Orange Face.

Because the fabric is tightly woven, it is highly water-repellent, and the fabric itself is stiff, which means that areas that are frequently rubbed tend to tear more easily.

It is also true that many vintage jackets have areas that are frequently rubbed, such as pocket openings and cuffs, that become tattered due to salt damage, among other things.

That's why Dry Bones uses leather parts in areas that tend to get worn out easily, greatly increasing durability.

We've thoroughly improved the cold protection in all respects, including the fleece collar, ribbed cuffs, and button and zipper placket.

For a little fun, the lining is made of long-haired leopard-print faux fur.
