DS-2762 Ombre Check 2 Flap Open Shirt

100% Rayon

A typical two-flap open-collar shirt from the 1950s .

What's more, it is made of yarn-dyed rayon ombre check, a textile that was extremely popular among delinquents at the time.

The style is a Dry Bones classic, with a rounded collar at the end and two flap pockets.

It is what is known as a "typical mid-1950s design."

However, it is actually made with great attention to detail...

This regular check makes it easy to see, but when viewed from the front you can see that the pocket flaps are raised slightly outward.

This figure is just 5 mm compared to the pocket width of 12 cm.

By raising it by just 5 mm, the body would appear to have the "simple and sturdy" shape that was the men's style of the time.

On the other hand, if the pocket flaps are completely horizontal, the outer edges will appear to hang down when the garment is worn, making it look flimsy.

Similarly, the collar has a small rounded tip, and is cut in such a way that when the first button is unbuttoned, the collar appears to rise slightly toward the shoulder.

By doing so, we are able to create patterns that do not make the shoulders look sloping.

This is a typical, ordinary shirt from the mid-1950s, but in fact, it contains the ``secrets of men's clothing''.

It also features a classic ombre check color scheme that was popular at the time.

This piece is stylish on its own, but also works great as an inner layer for a jacket.
