We have recreated the dressy two-pleat trousers made from work material that were popular in the 1950s.

During this period, all men's brands were making two-pleat trousers.

The most popular materials were rayon Venetian, linen and rayon blends, and wool.

Work-related materials were shunned in this form.

Perhaps the time, place, and occasion were different.

Meanwhile, Levi's was the brand that broke this trend.

In addition to five-pocket jeans, Levi's also developed a wide range of two-pleat trousers made from work materials such as broken denim.

I was able to get hold of a work-style material called corduroy with a nep print, which seems to symbolize that era.

So it made its debut in the form of these two-tuck work trousers.

The distinctive thick belt loops are sandwiched between belt parts to increase durability.

There is a coin pocket on the right side at the transition point of the belt part, and all pockets are made sturdy and with fasteners.

The silhouette was in line with the fashion of the time, with the thighs being quite wide and tapering towards the hem.
