We came across some deadstock shirt fabric with a 1920s style print, so we designed this item with a style that resembles that time.

Dry Bones does business with a company that deals in deadstock fabrics...and when I came across a piece of fabric at that store that I thought was "the one," I bought it right away.

This pattern is an actual one that was used for cotton fabric in the 1920s, and was probably designed by an American textile designer.

The fabric was imported into Japan, and although I don't know how it got there, I decided to incorporate American vintage textiles into a simple and sturdy vintage style work shirt.

The shirt is an old style work shirt with a pocket on only one side of the chest.

The placket ends at the bottom button, so it won't get tucked in when worn tucked into your bottoms.

The pockets are luxuriously matched to the pattern, making it suitable for a dressy look.

The material is cotton flannel, a soft and warm material for autumn and winter. Because it is a non-slip material, the back of the yoke, the back of the collar, and the back of the cuffs are switched to cotton twill lining.

Although it looks like a geometric pattern, it is actually a real textile design from nearly 100 years ago. And since it is a work shirt, the pattern and purpose are perfect.
