We have created a short-sleeved version of the classic 1930s style work shirt.

There are front pockets on both sides of the chest, one of which has a flap to prevent items from falling out.

It also has a pencil pocket.

The front placket ends at the bottom button. This was a design at the time to allow the shirt to be tucked into pants.

The material is a synthetic indigo-dyed chambray, but the composition is 80% cotton and 20% linen. The linen blend gives it a crisp feel, making it the perfect material for a summer short-sleeved shirt.

The buttons are cat's eye buttons for export. They are urea buttons that have been produced in Japan since before the war and were often used on work shirts. As the shape is the same on both sides, they can be easily reused and have been used on many items.

Although it is a work shirt, the material and color give it a refreshing feel, making it also useful as a summer jacket.
