Size 42 (XL) is sold out.
I made a shirt with an all-over pattern based on the tropical motif that was all the rage in America in the 1950s.
In the 1950s, it became popular for middle-class Americans who built their dream homes with gardens in the suburbs to decorate their wet areas (kitchens, bathrooms, etc.) with a "tropical" style.
A signature item was the curtains, which were boldly decorated with large, vibrant, exotic plants.
We found some deadstock shirt fabric influenced by this and incorporated it into an open-collar shirt.
This textile design is a bit unusual...
When you look at a part of it, it is a vivid flower, but when you look at it from a distance, part of the flower looks like the pattern of a butterfly's wing.
In a way, it's like a trick art.
The fabric used this time is deadstock cotton broadcloth made in the United States.
We only purchased a small amount of items imported to Japan.
The shape is a long point open collar.
In addition, cupra satin is used on the back of the yoke.
The material is smooth and easy to wear, and feels cool and comfortable against the skin.
I focused on the style of the early 1950s.
This pattern is essential for creating a 1950s American look during the hot summer months.
As this is deadstock fabric, production is limited.
