This is a reproduction of an offset Henley neck shirt that was made mainly in the 19th century before the 1920s.

The main fabric is a jersey knit made from thick 14-count cotton. The jersey fabric has a rough and unrefined feel, and even when worn alone in the summer, it still has a strong presence.

The shoulder line runs against the grain (the direction of the fabric), so when you hang it on a hanger to dry after washing, the fabric will not stretch and the shoulders will not droop.

The collar rib is made of an original special knitted rib, giving it a truly antique feel from the last century.

The front placket is made of off-white woven fabric. The offset placket is made of woven fabric, which gives it a strong presence and makes the design itself stronger.

The front part is intentionally shifted to the side from the center so that it is in front of the chest and does not interfere with anything. This design originated from European military equipment, but is now an endangered species.

The small buttons attached to the very edge are two-hole buttons made of natural Takase shell. Natural shell buttons are also used on the undershirt, giving it a vintage feel.

Of course, it has a strong presence when worn alone, but it also pairs well with work items such as overalls, work shirts, and coveralls.
