We followed the collar style that was popular in the United States in the late 1950s.
The material is cotton broadcloth print, deadstock fabric.
In the 1950s, argyle designs, which originated in the UK, became all the rage, likely due to the popularity of the harlequin motif.
It seems that this fabric was designed in line with that trend.
The print also incorporates an atmosphere similar to the scratched texture of Japanese kimono fabric, capturing the characteristics of both.
The collar is an Italian collar, which was popular in the late 1950s. It is a type of open collar, but it has a wider opening and looks more masculine.
The four-hole natural Takase shell buttons create a luxurious feel.
The collar is made of black cotton broadcloth.
The pockets also have double welts to add some variety.
Made of highly absorbent cotton, it can be washed easily at home, making it ideal for everyday summer wear.
