I made a shirt using fabric with a leopard print motif that was very popular in the United States in the 1950s.

In the 1950s, leopard prints and other animal prints became very popular in men's casual wear. Until then, leopard prints (mainly fake fur) were often used on women's coats to give a luxurious feel. But…

In the 1950s, animal prints on rayon, cotton and other fabrics were all the rage among teenagers. In addition to the classic leopard print, there were also zebra, snake, giraffe, tiger and many other designs. .

I guess this print fabric was also made with that era in mind. The salmon pink background is covered with wandering leopards. It's really 1950s style.

The fabric used this time is deadstock cotton broadcloth made in the United States. We only purchased a small amount of it that was imported to Japan.

The shape is short point and open collar. I tried to focus on the style of the late 1950s.
