DK-132 Solid Mohair Cardigan
Wool 13%, Acryl 54%, Nylon 33%
This design is inspired by the mohair cardigan that was popular from the late 1950s to the mid-1960s.
It is knitted with a 13 count single yarn that is a blend of wool, acrylic, and nylon. It has a fluffy texture, yet a weighty feel.
I think we've managed to successfully recreate the typical brushed texture of the early 1960s.
The placket and collar are ribbed using the same yarn, resulting in a beautiful finish and easy wear.
There is an inner pocket at the waist made of the same knit fabric, so you can store small items here.
The buttons are genuine nut buttons. I'm happy that they are made from natural materials and fit the material perfectly. I'm also looking forward to seeing how these buttons change over time.
Because it's a solid color, it should be easy to match with Dry Bones' many patterned shirts.
The mohair cardigan is also famous for being worn by a certain famous musician over a cut-and-sew top.
Currently, this item is extremely scarce even in the vintage market, and it is unlikely to become more common in the future. However, we are proud that Dry Bones has completely reproduced it, making it a point that will remain for generations to come.
The range of coordination possibilities is endless, with innerwear ranging from long-sleeved T-shirts to denim jackets.
It's sure to be a big hit this fall and winter.
