The design is based on children's western shoes that were popular in the 1950s.
The name Western Mox Monk Strap Shoes means...
Western = Western,
Mox = Mocha stitched,
Monk strap means a belt type with a buckle.

In the 1950s, inspired by the Western culture that was all the rage across the United States, many children's leather shoes were designed and produced with Western motifs.
This is a proposal for "footwear that is not western boots" at a time when various western cultures have emerged, such as Hopalong Cassidy and the Lone Ranger.
Also, since children's feet grow quickly, some believe that short boots had a wider customer base than western boots.
Among them all, this design of shoes is the most decorative.
The embossing on the upper is beautiful, but even the western buckle, double welt, and long horn cutout at the opening are all designed without compromise.
We wanted to create such an excellent product that even modern Japanese adults would wear them.
The embossing, buckles, and dies mentioned above are all originals from that time and produced in shoe factories in Japan.
In addition, the thin leather used for the double welt was specially produced for this shoe.

These shoes can be said to be the origin of Dry Bones' projects.
