The design is based on children's western shoes that were popular in the 1950s.
The name Western Mox Monk Strap Shoes means...
Western = Western,
Mox = mocha stitched,
Monk strap means a belt type with a buckle.
In the 1950s, inspired by the Western culture that was all the rage across the United States, many children's leather shoes were designed and produced with Western motifs.
With the emergence of various Western cultures such as Hopalong Cassidy and the Lone Ranger, this is a proposal for "footwear that is not Western boots."
Also, since children's feet grow quickly, some believe that short boots had a wider customer base than western boots.
Among them, this design of shoes is the most decorative.
The embossing on the upper is beautiful, but even the western buckle, double welt, and longhorn cutout at the collar have been designed without compromise.
We wanted to create such a wonderful product that modern Japanese adults would also be able to wear it.
The embossing, buckles, and die cutters mentioned above are all made from original materials and produced in a shoe factory in Japan.
In addition, we produced original thin leather for the double welt area specifically for these shoes.
These shoes can be said to be the origin of Dry Bones' projects.
