90% wool, 10% nylon

Based on sports jackets from the 1920s and 1930s.

The shape is that of the A-1 type, which is a famous military jacket.

This style of flight jacket was made at a time when military regulations were still vague, so many private brands made jackets with a similar style.

With ribbing on the collar, sleeves, and hem, they provide excellent protection against the cold, and many were made for use in outdoor sports such as hunting.

This time I found some classic wool tweed in deadstock so I arranged it in a 1920s-30s style.

It has a classic button fly at the front and cap buttons on the ribbed collar that fasten with a snap.

The ribbing on the sleeves is a stepped circular knit style commonly seen in military items, and since it has no seams it fits perfectly around the wrist.

The ribbing around the hem is also double-knitted in the exact same way as the G-1, a famous vintage jacket of the US Navy. This knitting method is approved by military specifications for its excellent cold protection.

The shape of the pocket is borrowed from the classic flight jacket, the A-2.

When it's windy you can stand the collar up to keep you warm, and when it's not windy you can fold it down to use as a shawl collar.

This is a versatile and easy-to-wear sports jacket.
