DS-2658 Wool Check 2 Flap Open Shirt
100% wool
This is a reproduction of the wool open-collar shirt that was popular in America for a long time from the 1950s through to the 1990s.
Made from 100% lightweight wool in a classic windowpane check pattern.
The color scheme is also calm, so I think it will go well with any kind of bottoms.
This wool checked shirt was originally produced as hunting clothing, but due to its versatility it can now be worn in a variety of situations.
Since it is designed for hunting, it has excellent heat retention.
The buttons are made of natural shell.
Moreover, the four-hole buttons are crisscrossed, so they are unlikely to come off.
The stitching on the side seams and armholes reproduces the double chain stitch style of the 1950s.
Furthermore, the pocket flaps, which are unique to this era, are attached using a very special method called "octopus tentacle stitching."
There are no stitches visible at the top attachment point, a laborious stitching technique typical of the 1950s.
The beautiful color scheme will make it a great accent color for the dark outerwear that is common in winter.
