I tried to recreate a 1930s style woolwork vest.

The material is thick 100% wool melton, and it is only available in black.

Typically a vest is worn under outerwear, so the back is often made from slippery cupra or cotton satin, but this vest is designed to be worn over outerwear, so the back is made from the same fabric as the front.

The front has large pockets on both sides. Combined with the thickness of the fabric, it is reminiscent of beach jackets and beach vests. In fact, a lot of these vests were made in the 1930s to 1950s.

The hem is curved so that it does not restrict leg movement when riding a motorcycle, car, or bicycle.

It is made of thick wool melton, so it is very warm and provides protection from the cold when working or riding in vehicles during the winter.
